Postdoc Research Group Schur

  • Full Time (40h/w)
  • Klosterneuburg (Vienna), Austria
  • € 72,100* gross/year - application deadline: August 15, 2025

The Schur lab at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) has an open postdoc position for a highly motivated candidate to be part of our ERC-funded project ActinID.

Our Group

The Schur lab at ISTA lab develops integrative cell and structural biology approaches to study functional properties of tissue, cell and virus architecture. We do so by developing approaches that integrate cell and structural biology using cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET). Specifically, we are actively developing new software and workflows to extract quantitative information from complex three-dimensional datasets, and refine image processing approaches for high-resolution in-cell structures.
